International Women’s Day

“ENTREPRENEURIAL businesswomen attended an event held at Ascot Racecourse, which encouraged women to be the best versions of themselves to celebrate International Women’s Day.”

It is not everyday that you find your work being written about in the press. Yet this is exactly what happened on the 12.03.2019 when Bracknell News published an article about our first International Women’s Day for Women in Business conference which took place at Ascot Racecourse on 8th of March 2019. So, let’s see what the paper wrote:

“The event was organised by the Forte Training company and celebrated women’s achievements in business.

It also gave the opportunity for women who attended to meet other women and learn new strategies for personal development and growth.

Magdalena Gabriah, the company’s excellence coach who organised the event believes it was a success.

She said: “We talked about the impact the personality has on the achievement of goals, how to create an authentic personal brand and how to create the best version of yourself.

“I meet many women with huge amount of potential who often shy away from opportunities either as a result of low confidence, bad experiences in their past or a so-called Impostor Syndrome.

“This event was designed to help women learn new skills and strategies to prepare themselves for the opportunities ahead of them and give them greater chance of success as well as meet and network with other like-minded women in business.”

Mrs Gabriah has also launched the Forte Foundation, which helps mothers on maternity leave benefit from coaching they wouldn’t normally be able to access.

She added: “At the event I had one of the 2 mums who benefitted from the service so far talk about the change it had made in her life.

“From being a full-time mum of 1-year old twin girls and an aspiring bookkeeping student to having the confidence to launch her own business 5 months after we started our coaching relationship.”

We are very delighted to have delivered such an inspiring conference. Some of the feedback we have had included quotes such as these:

“I came with an open mind as to what to expect and I went away filled with great content and learnings and tools I can practically use. Exceeded my expectations”

And another one from Maria Kidd who a month after the conference set up her own interior design business:

“Thank you so much for the conference- it has really inspired me to start my business plan again. That was always on the backburner”

We are very proud of all our delegates, their passion and changes they started implementing that day and which will continue to shape their lives and their careers. We are proud to have our work featured in the press and we certainly hope that this is not the last time. Until then, Stay Strong, Stay Forte!
